The Southern Union Data Center (SUDC) provides data center services to businesses in Houston and the surrounding area. Data center services include data center computer room raised floor space, redundant A/B power, cooling, secure access, storage and office space. We have true A and B side electrical redundancy, and do not charge a premium for B side power.
Our data center co-location offering is "bare bones", meaning we offer data center space, power, cooling, and secure access – versus many co-location data centers that offer a large menu of services to choose from, which raises their pricing considerably. Our offering appeals to seasoned Information Technology Departments who want secure, redundant and dependable data center space for their infrastructure.
Our pricing is much less than other co-location data centers pricing because we offer this solution to our customers.
Southern Union also has their Information Technology infrastructure equipment located in the data center, so we take operation of the data center very seriously. Southern Union both owns and operates the data center. We are experienced in operating a data center, where our customers are experienced in operating Information Technology systems.
